Body-Solid Olympic OWT24 Plate Tree Rack

This is a very sturdy little plate tree, I've never gone wrong with body-solid. Sam's had the best deal I could find for this piece.

The metal is obviously solid and high quality. And for the price, you probably will be satisfied. The other reviewer is incorrect, it fits all size olympic plates (up to 45lbs) just fine. And I love the small compact size. However, it has 2 negatives. 1- The branches (where the weight hangs) simply slide through a hole in the tree. That would be fine if the screw actually locked the branch in place. However - there are no holes on the branches and therefore you just end up tightening a screw against metal. It's also hard to ensure each side is 6" long. Body Solid should have drilled a hole at the middle point making this part much better. 2- The bottoms of the tree do not have any padding or rubber. Just metal scratching your floor. I would even be afraid to put this on my rubber flooring as the metal is sharp at the ends and could tear it. So I left it on concrete (which it scratches). Clearly they should have added some sort of rubber here. They also do not supply any black touch up paint which is a shame, since mine is scratched. All in all - I'm not going to return it - it's sturdy enough and was cheap. But I wouldn't buy it again if I knew all this.
