A product built to last

Just received my GE Profile wine refrigerator. Purchased this product after another refrigerator failed again. You buy an inexpensive wine refrigerator and you get what you pay for. A cheap refrigeration unit that fails and inability to find someone to repair it when it does with shelves that are difficult to pull out an push in. The GE Profile wine refrigerator is built much better. The shelves pull out (all the way too) and go in with ease. The top shelve will actually hold pinot noir and chardonay bottles. This refrigerator is supposed to hold 57 bottles and will if you include mini bottles. The real capacity is 50 bottles, which is fine with me. I purchased the unit because it is much better construction and came with a 5 year guarantee on the refrigeration unit. There is no temperature display but setting it for reds will keep that a 55 degrees. Since I have just received the unit I cannot comment on how well it cools but other reviews I read before purchase were pleased with it.

A great replacement!

Bought this as a replacement of a 2 year old unit by another manufacturer. This unit is much better! Quiet, attractive, holds more wine, and has a significantly better/ longer warranty than the all of the others in this price range. Works beautifully as a built-in. Wish the shelves would adjust a bit for larger format bottles, and a LED temp display would be a nce upgrade

Reliable

We have had this wine fridge for approx. 6 years. Two years into our ownership, the cooling mechanism broke, however the repair was under warranty and we have not encountered any other issues. I would recommend this product. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
