Cooks in 5 minutes. Cooking Directions For Soup: Stove Top: 1. In medium saucepan, bring 3 cups (24 fluid ounces) water to a boil, stir in entire contents of soup carton (including noodle mixture and seasoning packet). 2. Reduce heat; simmer 5 minutes or until noodles are tender, stirring occasionally. Makes 3 cups soup. Microwave Oven (Microwave ovens vary; cooking time may need to be adjusted): 1. In 2-quart microwave-safe casserole dish, bring 3 cups water to a boil. Stir in entire contents of soup carton (including noodle mixture and seasoning packet). 2. Cook, uncovered, on high for 5 minutes or until noodles are tender, stirring twice. Caution: Container may be hot. 2 closed cartons in this twin-pack. 1. Snap carton back. 2. Tear down perforated line. 3. Press where indicated. Best if used by date on package.

The way my momma makes it
I don't use this product as intended. I boil a huge pot of water with the seasonings and with chicken. (I use breast tenders but my mother always used a whole chicken to save money.) I pull out the cooked chicken and dice it then return to soak up all the flavor. When time for dinner I bring to a boil and add rice - just throw away the noodles. Boil the rice for 15 minutes so it will be firm. I am known for making beer bread when I prepare this. Tastes like I slaved all day and the whole house smells great!
