I use this when making Toll House chocolate chip cookies. It makes the cookies less flat and perfect. I make 9 giant cookies per batch. I also use only pure cane sugar and pure cane brown sugar. Formerly I used the plain crisco but when the butter sticks came out I switched to them, and never regretted it. I store them in a plastic container and they last a long time when I'm in between baking!
