This is my secret for perfectly delicious, flaky pie, crusts and more. OK, I know it's not the healthiest, but it really delivers when it comes to piecrust. Also use it for greasing pans never have any stick problems. I asked a pastry chef once what his secret was to their amazing pies and he said butter flavored Crisco, but not to tell anyone, lol.

I love baking with this. You get the effect of the shortening with the taste of butter. I don't like to use just butter because baked goods, specifically cookies, tend to come out flat. I always use a combination of butter and shortening. With this, it's all in one with one less step. Flavor is great and it's easy to scoop out of the can - easier and less messy than regular shortening.
