Cresent Lufkin Quikread PQR1316N Tape Measure 16 ft L x 3/4 in W Blade Steel Blade Orange

I used the same model Lufkin tape measure for many years, and it was great. It finally died after some mistreatment, so i decided go replace it with the same model. This new one isn't nearly as good. The button on top that locks the tape is weak -- it doesn't lock tightly, and it's very easily to accidentally release. BOOOO! Also, the bottom of the case is convex, so the case rocks back-and-forth while sitting on a flat surface. It easily falls over while I'm trying to get an accurate measurement or mark the workpiece. I will be replacing this new tape measure with a different brand. Lufkin really dropped the ball with this redesigned product.
