Not what I expected.

I would've given the tea kettle 5 stars if it was offered in the all stainless steel color as pictured on the website. It's a little deceiving because it wasn't even available on back order. Almost as if its been discontinued, so I had to pick one of the 4 colors that were available. I chose black since it was the most neutral color, however, it is not as aesthetically appealing as the all stainless steel kettle. The construction of the tea kettle is sturdy though...I would buy again only if it came in all stainless steel.

It will burn you - Danger!

This is not a safe design, unless you use it with a kitchen mitt or towel. If you don't you will likely burn your fingers or hand no matter how carefully you try and use it. If you try to hold it only with the plastic part of the grip it is unbalanced. If you try to depress the stopper, the odds are you will touch the metal parts and get burned. There are better choices.
