I bought these items for homeschooling. When I see and smell them it reminds me of my younger days. As a child going to school. But I also got this set as I have taken up adult coloring as my doctor said it would help my essential tremor. (uncontrollable shaking). I just started so I don't know if it's working or not. I am glad Walmart carries Crayola as it is my go-to brand and you can't beat the prices now at back-to-school time. there is even colors to match skin tones. Great for beginners or adults like me who like to show depth and blend.

they are very nice, they last quite a while. Even if it breaks in half the two halves are a bit harder to break but, still uncomfortable on the hand after a bit. My hands start to cramp, or get rubbed on a bit and it burns or stings after so much rubbing on my hand. but other than that they are good colors a and easy to keep in the lines and shade with and color with. They don't splinter, and they sharpen better than most brands.
