This blanket is velvety and comfortable. The gray color is almost silvery because of the plush pile fabric. It is amply sized to fit my king-size bed and can even be tucked in. After going through a normal machine wash-and-dry cycle, it looks and feels like new. A great bargain for a great blanket.
