My husband and I were at work when the package was delivered. My husband knew I was ordering one ( I always tell him everything ) when we gotten home he seen the package and made the comment “ that's a very small package for a king size comforter “ I'm not even gonna lie when I seen it I was like “ oh. no. what have I done “ so I open package to only be greeted by another smaller package. I was in full panic mode. Once I opened that package and seen the vacuum sealed bag - I busted into laughter. It was all smushed in there and wrinkled like no other. It was very flat, and very thin. I laughed even harder ( I laugh when I'm stressed ) once I could compose myself and actually stopped to think for a second. I simply placed the king size, wrinkled up, flat blanket in the dryer and set it for delicates and walked the heck away. When I came back 30 minutes later and seen nothing changed. I said screw it and put it on normal and for 20 minutes. I came back when the dryer stopped. I could see through the glass that it had obviously changed. By this point it didn't matter if it was bad or not. I had already excepted the loss. But holy air ball! This thing fluffed up like a dang cloud. It wasn't the same wrinkled smushed and flat blanket. She transformed into a beautiful, fluffy, not too thick, but light comforter. She still has some wrinkles but I honestly think they add to the look - especially the look I'm going for. I wish I would have taken pictures from the very beginning so you could see the difference and why I panicked so bad. This comforter is the best one I have owned yet. I'm a cold person married to an extremely hot person. So sleeping at night has become a work of art trying to keep us both comfortable. With this comforter my husband says he doesn't get hot. I don't get cold. Our room temperature is set on 62 all year round. My husband is the type if he could sleep with the window open during the cold winter, he would. Me, I'm the type I have to have the room cold, but I have to be warm at the same time. With this comforter I feel as if paired with the right sheets you can achieve that. So far we sure have. I feel like I'm sleeping in a bed of fluffy soft clouds. We both don't want to get out of bed at All now. Definitely worth it! I did buy a king for a queen bed. But I always do with how big and fluffy our mattress and mattress topper are. So I'm not sure the fit on the other sizes. I do wish it came a little longer on the sides, but it's not a deal breaker for me. My daughter even wants one now for her bed.
