Coxreels Hose Reel,Spring,300 psi,50 ft EZ-P-LP-450

This is a commercial product in all respects...heavy duty..excellent technology, sound constuction, durable mechanics. It functions as described with the "EZ" coil being slower and much better...well worth the extra bucks...especially if you use it frequently and in many locations. It allows you to place your hose where you wish and lock it there until a slight tug begins the recoil...slick, cool and easy. It is all together simply perfect for my home garage application. I also purchased the electric unit with the work light and power plug and suspended them in a similar fashion to my ceiling installation of the hose. I did have to construct a mounting bracket (from 2" beam stock I had lying around...laminated wood) to span my ceiling joints as the mounts are 3 inches apart and I felt I needed all 4 holes for a permanent, maintaince and worry free forever mount, ie., 1 and a half inches is NOT enough to mount the box configuration of the base. It was easy and considering the weight of the unit...necessary. These products are excellent.... mounted on my ceiling gives me air, power and light anywhere, anytime in seconds...and that IS the idea..mike

The reel retracts at the same speed as our 25 year old reels. No reduction in speed was found by any of our employees. The hose on the reel was only 45 feet long not the 50 feet as advertised. But no big deal.
