Country White, ColorPlace Pre-Tinted Flat Interior Paint, Gallon

Do not buy this paint - they have changed the formula and it is terrible. I had a can of this paint in Country White that I bought around 2012 and it was fine. I needed another can mid-project so I bought one - same brand, finish, and color. Immediately I could tell a difference. The new formula has a terrible texture - it is gummy and will not go on smoothly. The coverage is also terrible - I have applied four coats and it still looks streaky. The color change was subtle - off-white to a lighter off-white -- so it should not take that many coats. I have many years' experience with painting. I have a degree in fine arts, and have used every type of paint. I have painted the interiors of seven houses, and I have done faux finishes and glazing. I have used top-of-the-line $40 paint, and lots of cheap paint, too. They have all worked well enough. I have never had such a terrible experience with a paint product.
