TRIXIE Multi-Level Wall Mounted Cat Perch with Bridge, Espresso Brown

I got it on sale for like 22 bucks. so I figured it would be a fun little DIY project. I haven't hung it yet it is airing out. it has a very strong scent of cedar. the paint is crap it's a cheap flat water-based primer the tannins are bleeding through. the pre-drilled holes seem to line up so far but I have only messed with the gussets to make sure it all squared up. there aren't any predial holes in the bottom of the bridge itself where you attach the base to it but that's okay I think it's better that way. I read a review that said that the hardware was terrible it's not the greatest but I think they must have upgraded since then from plastic to metal anchors. overall, I think it will be fine with little sanding and couple coats of better paint,something that will cover the smell. I'll probably use some gorilla wood glue along with the screws. the rope part of bridge looks like it's attached pretty well they have put screws underneath to hold Logan so we'll see how that goes. it is definitely $20 worth of wood and rope and everything is already cut for me so I like that. it looks like something that you would make in high school shop class and get a B on so there you go.
