Cosco Kids Funsport Portable Compact Baby Play Yard with Carry Bag, Gray Arrows

This is an excellent portable crib and play yard. It is especially remarkable at the price. Also remarkable is the number of patterns and colors that are available. Our grandson has used this as a bed for sleepovers even though he is approaching 3 years of age. The one inch “mattress” may be getting thin for his weight but we have not received any complaints. My wife thinks this particular pattern and color set is better suited for a girl. I think it works either way. This thing is very sturdy and it shows in the weight - meaning it's heavy. However, other brands are even heavier. It is a cinch to set up. Just leave the center post up (unlocked), snap all of the side arm to lock, and finally push down on the center post. Taking the thing down for transport is another matter. Although the instructions say essentially reverse the set up steps, there is usually a problem with one or more of the arms of the thing not getting tucked in properly. Once the arms are all tucked in, you need to wrap the mattress around the play yard and thread some Velcro straps through belt loops. All of this means you have to get down on the floor and wrestle with the contraption to get it properly stowed. The carrying bag is made from very thin material and it seems that it will get torn up pretty fast. We will see. Still, for the price, you are getting an excellent piece of baby furniture.

This awesome Fun Sport Play yard comes in at a whapping, compacted 22lbs. When pulled out of box, it is in it's own bag like a folding chair. when pulled from the bag it is still neatly held together by it's inner bottom by Velcro around it. Once you take this off you simply leave the center up and pull each side rail up until your hear a double click. Then you can push the center down, take the bottom (which is very well padded, easy to clean material, has a Velcro at each corner), Place it in bottom of play yard, Velcro it to the bottom of play yard through the pre-slits design and you are ready to go. Now this play yard has two wheels on one side at bottom which makes for very easy rolling it around the house, yard, wherever you may be. This play yard is a very compact unit when closed back up which makes it a great space saver for traveling. It was very well designed and I think it's great.
