This will save my brain from injury...

As an RN (now retired) , I witnessed a patient with Huntington's Disease who fell a lot. She was a younger adult, was married, but had to live a life in fear of ending one's life due to a fall. Wanting the patient to be free to roam the facility, a rubber helmet meant life and a fuller quality of it. Now I am my own nurse with MS, and fall a lot during relapses. I ordered a Purple Rugby Helmet from this Seller and it is fabulous (hence the purple color) due to construction known to protect one's brain. I wear it when I am in the house alone now, this after I cracked my forehead against an unforgiving material and suffered such a hard knock to the head I instantly had on of my infamous migraines. Due to an abnormally fast weight loss, I tripped over the hanging hem of my pants. I didn't go to sleep until 6.5 hours that night, to assure I would wake up come morning. This is the smartest preventive injury addition yet, to my consistently growing collection of the same. Note: Online photos and item description are true to form.

Rugby helmet protects the brain and skull...

This Rugby soft-shell helmet will save my life, seriously. I have MS and in relapses, am clumsy with a history of falls striking my head; I have had three concussions to date. As a retired RN, I had to come up with a solution for my own safety and to protect my brain (already affected by the MS and a 2015 stroke which ended a great career). I purchased a purple one and a red Rugby helmet based on the online photo; it is as presented. Though I only wear it when I am home (I don't do well in small spaces with sharp corners on anything), those who know me, know I'm styling despite the seriousness of falls with head strikes. A KISS band member just died from the same thing at 74. We have lost many to this dire issue. Don't underestimate that which could very well end one's life. Now, after two head strikes within four days... I am never not wearing it. I was lucky again with the diagnosis of a closed head injury/concussion, but luck doesn't prevent injury. Everyone knows someone that is experiencing falls, for whatever the reason.
