This stock pot is nothing short of amazing!! I've been looking for one for a few years. I always want to get one on St Patrick's Day so I can cook corned beef and cabbage. This Thanksgiving I finally broke down and bought one and, BOY, and I glad I did!! I used to to cook a turkey stock and I had plenty of room to put in all my turkey parts, vegetables, and broth. When you look around and see how expensive stock pots are, it's ridiculous! I can't believe I got this pot for less than $50!! I saw this pot on America's Test Kitchen. They had a bunch of pots reviewed at all different prices. This pot was the best HANDS DOWN! I LOVE the glass lid! I can see how things are coming along without having to remove the lid and lose heat! The handles and lid handle are coated with a rubber that makes it very easy to lift the lid without the need for a potholder. Same goes for lifting the pot. I don't have to worry about getting burned. Clean up was a breeze. I just used hot water, Dawn, and a sponge. It dried spotless. If you're like me, on a years long quest to get a decent stock pot, get this one. You'll be very glad you did!!
