LOVE THIS JACKET!

This jacket is amazingly the answer to the Chicagoland weather that I have been needing. I have another Columbia rain jacket without the fleece lining and it's also not long. I love it for the summer months in the Midwest BUT… this Switchback one is PERFECT for the extra cold that sneaks up when the wind tries to cut through you in the early spring/early fall. It's so soft and comfortable and the rain just rolls right off. So glad I spent the extra bucks to grab this jacket - it's worth every penny.

Love the longer length, lining, hood, and pockets!

This windbreaker/rain jacket was just what I was looking for. I wanted a lining more substantial than mesh so I could wear it on cool, rainy or misty days. I like the longer length and I feel like it is a flattering jacket that skims the body (not tight). I am 5'4", around 125 and the Medium is perfect for me. Sleeves are slightly long on me but you can cinch them with the velcro tabs. If I had one little suggestion it would be that I wish there was a bit of reflective material on the front and back, since I walk daily and start before dawn. So I ordered some 3M Scotchlite adhesive sticker strips to add a bit of reflection. But very happy otherwise with purchase!

Versatile Light Jacket

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I ordered an XS and it fit well. I'm 5'3” 130lbs. This has become one of my favorite jackets. It's lightweight yet warm. If I put a fleece under it, it's very warm. In Colorado, we have all four seasons in one day sometimes. On a cold day, this paired with a fleece is perfect. On a rainy spring day, this by itself can keep you warm and dry. On a cool summer night, this jacket would be absolutely perfect worn over a t shirt. This jacket will be one of my go-to items when I need something lightweight. I can definitely see myself leaving this in my car this summer as a backup jacket!
