Coleman 316 Series 120Qt Hard Chest Cooler, Blue Nights

We bought two of these coolers so my son-in-law could go down to Buford, South Carolina and buy 100 pounds of shrimp and to mix with ice and bring it back to Easley South Carolina to sell to make some money. They have kept the ice and shrimp very cold and they have a spout on the side so you can drain the excess water every day so you can refill the ice to keep the shrimp better chilled. They hold a lot of shrimp and ice. The Coleman is a good quality cooler and has always been my favorite hands-down. These happened to be on sale so we were able to get two coolers for just a little bit more money with them being so cheap. You have to watch for those sales and clearance items because they usually have good prices on them and that's what I always do. I would highly recommend these coolers.

I bought this because I was taking food up to my daughter in college and we were stopping overnight at a friend's and I didn't want the food to spoil. My current 1980's coller is too small for road trips/transport and I got the biggest one for a great value that I can find. The reviews seemed good and I figured I could return it. I love it! A few notes. It is quite large. Was a good size for this weekend, but prob too big for local needs. Let me repeat - it's very large, which means it takes a lot of ice to fill. I froze some large ice packs, had my ice machine run as much as it could overnight, and then bought two bags of ice. It did the job. I heard the ice slushing around 5 days later before it had all turned to water (this is in ~55 degree day temps). Overall I'm very happy I made the purchase - it will be used on many road trips to come.
