Takes the harsh, very well.

Mounted this ON a friend's work truck, in Vegas, while it was still hot. Roadside dust and direct sun on it all day. Never missed a beat. Operated just fine, even when the outer case was hot enough to burn skin! Was going to use it as part of an in vehicle system, but it was hijacked by a friend that had a need... Now permanently wall mounted in a friend's garage/maker-space as the link between the work area, and the "relatively clean" area. It gets dusty and dirty, already paint flecked too. But, the best part: It gets heavy use by all the kids that use his garage, and it's already outlived the lifespan of numerous other hubs! I received this product in exchange for an unbiased review.

Excellent 4-Port Industrial USB Hub

I have been in the AV/IT Integration space for over 30 years. I found this unit easy to setup and use. The design is perfect for easy port access. This unit was thought through for control room use because the 4-port industrial USB hub can be surface or wall-mounted, and includes an optional DIN rail mount kit. The plug-and-play ports connect easily to various peripherals. I also like the added feature that each port also includes its own Transaction Translator (TT), to assist with load balancing and ensure each port can operate at peak performance. The unit installs quickly and is compatible with a variety of operating systems, which I tested. What is Included: 1 - USB 2.0 Hub 1 - USB-A to USB-B Cable 1 - DIN Rail Kit 1 - Instruction Manual Note: “I received this product in exchange for an unbiased review.”
