Claussen's Deli Pickle Spears in the 64 oz container are great in every way except one, the price. It seems that inflation has been way greater for this product than most products. Is it because it must be refrigerated? I would love to know. I would buy it more often but feel it is overpriced.

These are what a dill.pickle should be..CRISP not soggy. TANGY, not boring. GARLICKY, but not overwhelmingly so. REAL FLAVOR, no mediocrity. A tad pricey but SOOO WORTH IT. I never bought this size before, but its held up well and been about about 11 days open. No mold or any taste difference. I bought this size because a regular jar only lasts a couple of days because I CANT LEAVE THEM ALONE.

I love these and used to buy them at Sams where they came in a very large container but they stopped carrying them which Sams is good for. I started buying them at Wal-Mart even though they are in a much smaller container but as i was getting ready to order more Wal-Mart has went up to close to $12 and that is way to high.
