I already owned the Praxis Mini and was impressed with it. So I knew it was a good idea to upgrade to it's big brother. The Praxis feels good in the hand. The G10 handle is comfortable. The blade flipper action is very smooth. Straight out of the box it is exceptionally sharp. Shaved hair off my arm easily. Civivi thinks beyond the knife itself by including a cleaning cloth and a nice zippered case with the Civivi name on it. I think every Civivi knife I have has included these extras. Civivi is a brand I have enjoyed for a while now. I definitely recommend the Praxis (And it's little brother the Praxis Mini.)

Knife is a bit of a beast, in a good way. It is a simple, sharp and well thought out knife with a very comfortable handled and with a flipper for opening system that is smooth as silk. The handle scales are easy and comfortable to grip. This knife is both though out and made in a very good way.

Pricier option from Civivi but worth it

I wanted a full-size flipper folder for EDC but I was stuck on having an uncoated blade. Civivi offers great value for the money and had several versions of the Praxis for around $40. All but one had a black coated blade. I wasn't thrilled about the see-through orange scales but it was the only model with a clean blade and it was $60. I received a gift card so that made me pull the trigger. Action is smooth and crisp. Liner lock is easy to access and press. Blade is gorgeous and sharp. The scales are growing on me and it's sort of cool having something different than black or OD green. Feels great in the hand and solid grip. Pocket clip doesn't bite or create a hot spot at all. Very happy and it was worth the price after all.
