We purchased one of these blankets last year and it was a hit. My kids always wanted to snuggle under it in Moms bed. Always begging for it, constantly asking if I ever wanted to get a new blanket so they could fight over who got mine. So, this year for Christmas we bought four more - (a new pattern for my room, duh) and three others for each of my kids room. These blankets are heavy, so soft, so warm. We have very cold Montana winters and I don't have the heat blazing at night to control our electric bill, so I definitely know these blankets will keep them so nice and toasty. I'm very excited for them to open them, they are going to be STOKED. Not kidding. They seem oversized, so it might be difficult to wash them (especially the king size) if you don't have an oversized washer. Also, you will want to dry them on the lowest setting, I accidentally burnt a corner of mine once in the dryer. Don't second guess this decision, it's a beautiful comforter and was worth the money!
