It is made of good thick strong metal and if you follow the instructions, it's not to difficult to put together. Although the instructions says for 2 people, but I did it all by myself. I totally recommend this cage for large dogs and it's plenty strong and safe for them.

This dog crate is for my Cane Corso. It is a good design, strong, and easily assembled. It definitely requires two people for assembly because of component sizes and movement once assembled. Fits perfectly in my Tacoma pickup bed. Easy to secure and is loved by my dog. it has ample room so he can easily turn around. At home, I throw a cover over it leaving the end door uncovered and open. It's already become his personal cave. The large plastic pan that covers the entire bottom of the crate makes the installation of a pad and a small bucket for water a snap and is appreciated by all.

I bought this crate for my white german shepherd and her next future litter of german shepherd puppies. She had 10-14 puppies in a litter and needed something larger than the 48' crate so she wouldn't lay on her puppies or accidently step on them. I have been looking on and off for the 54'' crate and they were at least $169.00 without taxes and shipping(if needed). This was shipped to my house within a week and for less than $160.00! I haven't used it yet,but it came in great shape, because I looked at the pieces! I DEFINITELY RECOMMEND GETTING THIS CRATE!
