As several other reviews stated this comforter is light/not as thick as some we owned, but living in Florida we didnt want heavy. I LOVE IT. The pattern is absolutely gorgeous and the ensemble looks amazing. No issues with pulled threads and pillows are holding up fine after several weeks. Lighting in photos is a little yellow. Set is a nice mix of light and dark Id label platinum, silver and pewter
