lost potential
First the positive: Fabric is awesome, durable, and lovely! Seat and back have good spring, and rocking mechanism is full and smooth. Size is better for shorter backs. Negative: Assembly is obviously inferior. Improper stuffing causes the bottom corners of the top back cushion to point forward to reveal the underneath back framing. I got two chairs and they both arrived like that. Does not look like the picture. Also, that gap between the side and top/back (the hinge area where the back reclines), is obviously uneven (much larger gap on the right side). This chair could be a great value if the frame were assembled, and the cushions were stuffed, with more care. I thought of re-arranging the stuffing to fix that problem, but the underside material, once cut, is not the kind that can be sewn closed again. Perhaps it could be taped, but a new chair should not need to be damaged like that. Would have given it 5 stars for the quality components and material, except for the botched assembly, which sadly, ends up leaving the chair looking really defective.
