I was looking for certain features to keep my daughter modestly covered while enjoying her swim time. Her body is developing so she needed lining to cover her chest and crotch. I also wanted something that would cover her backside because everything else rides up when she is doing waterslides. The boy short bottoms accomplish that goal.
