This edge intake vent is rooftop installed, shingle over, and can be used with existing soffit or under eave vents. It is designed with internal baffles and a drainage system, along with an internal weather filter which provides three levels of weather protection. The CertainTeed Roof Edge Vent provides 9 square inches of net free area per linear foot.
