This inverter cover has an innovative self-attaching design and installs easily in three simple steps with no tools necessary. Strap it, frame it, then cover it. The high-strength clamps and fiberglass frame rods connect directly to the inverter, while the adjustable omni-fit electrical panel apron protects your outlets keeping them dry and safe. Enjoy a neat, finished look while running your inverter with confidence - the Storm Shield cover has the ability to withstands up to 70 mph winds, up to 12 inches of rain per hour and up to 18 inches of snow per day. The durable RF-welded seams and tough, NFPA-701 flame retardant rated vinyl fabric ensure the cover remains waterproof. Cover for my 5500 Inverter Generator
I purchased this cover for my Champion 5500 Inverter Generator. I watched the same YouTube video many times and read the installation manual also many times. It was a challenge going thru the install and I kept going back to the manual and video. I tweaked things until I got it right. Like many others said, the first time was a little difficult, but once you do it, it will be easy after that. One reviewer said the strap covered the exhaust and couldn't go any lower because of the wheels, so he returned it. I was able to raise the frame so the strap is above the exhaust, and it still covers the generator with ease. I am happy with the purchase.

Quality product, Installation not simple.
I have been eyeballing this cover for a while now. I finally ordered it and got it the other day. The Installation was a little more complex than I expected. It wasn't too bad. Just more time consuming than I expected. Overall I'm happy with it and will test it out fully on an upcoming camping trip.
