- REPLACEMENT FOR FLUORESCENT TUBES: Upgrade to LED technology effortlessly with LumeGen 4ft. LED T8 direct wire tubes. Our T8 LED Tubes are designed to replace traditional 32-watt fluorescent tubes in traditional socketed fixtures. Simply remove the old fluorescent ballast from the circuit and wire the sockets directly to line voltage for these Type-B ballast bypass LED tubes.
- TYPE B, DIRECT WIRE, BALLAST BYPASS INSTALLATION: These ballast bypass LED tubes require the fluorescent ballast be removed from the intended fixture and the sockets wired directly to the power supply. Once the fluorescent ballast is wired out of the circuit, you can simply plug and play these tubes into the existing sockets! It is important to know that these LED tubes CANNOT be installed with a fluorescent ballast in place!
- DOUBLE END POWER: These LumeGen LED T8 Ballast Bypass tubes are configured for double end power eliminating the need to worry about rewiring your fixture's lamp holders. Once you rewire the existing fixture to remove the ballast, you won't have to do it again for replacement LED tubes down the line.

This 4ft. LED T8 Direct Wire Tube is a perfect pick for any commercial or residential setting including super markets, factories, hotels, conference rooms, schools, and offices. LED Tubes are more energy efficient and longer lasting than fluorescent tubes and contain no hazardous materials! Made with frosted glass. This LED Tube is ultra-energy efficient at less than 10W and at 160 lumens/watt this tube can garner maximum energy-efficiency rebates in the state of CA. This LED Tube is Type B meaning it is NOT compatible with fluorescent ballast. This tube requires the existing ballast to be removed from the fixture prior to installation and wires directly into line voltage. This LED Tube is configured for Double-Ended Power, meaning this tube has a live end and a neutral end and should be installed with shunted socket.
