Step 1: Select Number of Servings: 2 servings; 1/3 pasta box; 2 qt. water; 1 tsp salt. 3 servings; 1/2 pasta box; 3 qt. water; 2 tsp salt. 6 servings; full pasta box; 5 qt. water; 1 tbsp salt. Step 2: pick your time/firmness. 7 minutes al dente. 8 minutes firm. 9 minutes tender. Step 3: Cooking Directions: 1. Bring water to a rapid boil. To add flavor and reduce stickiness, add salt (optional). 2. Add pasta and stir; return to rapid boil. 3. Cook uncovered, stirring occasionally. 4. Drain well. Serve as desired. Maintaining Perfect Pasta: To keep cooked pasta fresh for later use, toss with a small amount of olive oil and refrigerate. To open, lift tab.

This is my go-to tricolor pasta. We stock up because sometimes it goes out of stock. It's not the cheapest but its worth it to spend the little extra to get the better quality you get with this brand and it's always consistent. The noodles are actually softer/smoother and taste better than other brands. It feels a little better eating pasta knowing it's made with vegtables too. If you're making a summer salad, this one elevates your dish. Better ingredients=better texture %26 taste.

Some tricolor veggie pasta just seems like it has colors added but isn't tastey - you can actually taste the spinach and tomato in these! I love making pasta salads with these rotini - they're a summer favorite at our house.
