larger than other Capezio leos; *fabric = sizing

XL Capezio short-sleeved garnet leotard: beautiful leotard, but runs larger in size than Capezio's other styles, e.g. princess tank; camisole w/ adjusting straps, etc. I'd size down 1-2 sizes, depending on stretch fabric, for this type of leotard. With Capezio, look for the stretch of material as one predictor for size. I am 5'4” (155 lbs and losing weight), and fit comfortably in size L high stretch leotards. Interestingly, In the thicker, low-stretch adjusting straps camis, I still wear an XL. AN ASIDE: I danced from age 7 through college, and several grad schools until age 45. I'm now returning to ballet and dance at age 55. I'm surprised by all the improvements in dancewear from leotards and tights to ballet slippers. I'll be eager to try the unique individualized form-fitting molding support for pointe shoes designed by students from the design school where I was a founding team member of the “d.school” at Stanford and researcher/coach/instructor for its inaugural years. It's fun to watch how human-centered design has permeated the dance world with improvements.

Favorite Leo

This is my absolute favorite leotard. I have worn others from capezio and this is my go-to. It has held up really well. Originally I was skeptical because of the material, but I ended up loving it. Waiting for a restock :/ (5'3'' 120 ordered small fit ok on the smaller size, would go up if between sizes)
