Capezio Lily Ballet Shoe | Black

I always loved my ballet and jazz shoes. So at the age of 70, I still sought these shoes, not for dancing but for comfort and stability. They give me enough stability that allows me to walk on my hardwood floors without fear of falling. Thank you for making such a wonderful product!

Getting back to ballet after 50 years has its challenges, and finding the right shoe is important. My first selection (discontinued) was fine but eventually I noticed that I did not have the toe spread to balance using all my toes. After breaking in sufficiently with no improvement, I started looking for a different shoe to accommodate my narrow foot but wide toes and the Lily Ballet shoe in size 7 wide filled the bill right off the bat. This is my regular shoe size . . . I had gone a half size up in the previous selection which was appropriate for that style. I should note that this is two sizes up from what I used to wear back in the day.
