Campbell's Soup for a sick day

One of my favorite quick meals to heat up, especially when I have a code. I love to eat them with crackers. Noodle texture is not soggy or slimy.

Chicken bone-broth a Plus

I rarely eat canned soup, but wanted chicken noodle soup because I had a cold. Campbell's condensed soups have always been a pleasant childhood memory for me, so I enjoyed a can of this soup for several days. The use of chicken BONE broth sounds healthier, but I really could not tell a difference in the taste of the soup. I rarely dilute Campbell's with a full can of water (as they recommend), but I did use 1/3-1/2 can. I appreciate that this "heart-healthy" version has half their usual amount of sodium, but I would have liked even less sodium OR a sodium-free version. I prefer adding a small amount of salt to my individual servings. The only downside was the expense--nearly $2 a can. To me, it was worth it. I enjoyed the soup (sometimes with crackers) and felt better.

Just not what it used to be

It's too bad these companies care more about the bottom dollar than about their customers or the quality of the product. I don't know what has happened to Campbell's these last few decades but whatever it is seems to be a joke. The meat tastes like a rubber chicken. Such a shame.
