This Calmoseptine Ointment 4-oz Tube offers protection and promotes healing for various skin irritations. It's ideal for treating feeding tube site leakage, skin folds or fecal or vaginal fistula drainage. The formula helps with perspiration, diaper dermatitis and minor scrapes and burns too. This Calmoseptine tube creates a moisture barrier on the skin that can temporarily relieve itching and discomfort from inflamed, distressed tissue. To use, simply cleanse the affected area using a mild skin cleanser, gently pat dry or air dry and apply a thin layer of ointment two to four times daily. Created for any skin type and all ages, this cream is a useful all-purpose shield against many bothersome skin conditions.

This is perfect for when a diaper rash is not clearing up within one day with your usual creams/ointments. I will always have this on hand to treat a rash and it clears it up within 1 to 3 diaper changes unless really bad then it may take a day or so. I know it is listed as "scented", but I am very allergic to perfumes, and Calmoseptine doesn't bother me at all. In fact, I mix it with my favorite tallow and use it as deodorant. While I was trying to overcome a very bad eczema outbreak, I realized that my armpits did not smell bad if I rubbed this mixture on them. I learned to use it sparingly, though, because using too much will stain my shirts. Still, I highly recommend it.
