Privacy latch is poor design

Privacy latch does not automatically un-latch when handle is turned. Occupant must manually turn it back to get out of the room. In addition, it is a small knob that must be turned rather than a simpler push-button. Although ADA rules don't specifically mention door privacy latches, in general the ADA prohibits devices that require grasping and twisting. I will install it, but expect to have to replace it at some point.
