the drawers are way too small. I barely can fit anything in them. the wood for the drawers also came cracked because it is so thin. I would definitely shop at a furniture store instead

We ordered 5 pieces of furniture and 5 boxes were shipped. The first item we opened had a chip on the front of one of the drawer fronts. There was also a strong chemical odor that made our eyes burn and tear up. That odor did not go away. All 5 boxes were damaged from shipping. We only opened the one box. I went through Walmart to return and selected the option of damaged for the one item. I selected damaged boxes for other 4 items. A company was scheduled to pick up our items the next day. According to Fed ex tracking that Walmart provided, all 5 items were received by the 3rd party company 6/25/25 and signed for. As of today, 7/7/25, we still have not received a refund. Upon contacting Walmart for the second time today, I was told the items are in route to Walmart and I will have to wait further for them to "go through quality control and inspection". I did my part in returning the items. The items were picked up and delivered 6/25/25 to the 3rd party company as printed on the labels Walmart provided. I'm not understanding why I am having to wait for a refund for this additional step Walmart and the 3rd party apparently arranged. I've had zero communication from Walmart, other than the initial return email with the labels. I called Walmart customer service 7/3/25 and someone was assisting me. They put me on a long hold. We got disconnected and I never received a call back. I contacted Walmart again today through the online chat option. This person explained that I would have to wait for the items to be returned from the 3rd party company to Walmart. All very confusing and shady. Very disappointed in Walmart.
