I've worn this as a sun hat with the brim wide and I've worn it more as a cowboy hat with the brim curled up on the sides. I'm very pleased with this hat.

hat totally cool; shipping not so smart. It was put in larger box with the rest of my order. My husband brought it in and stood it on end (obviously his./our fault, but he was not aware there was a hat inside, so the rest of the package fell on the hat as it was now on the bottom. Think straw hats should be shipped in own box to prevent getting squashed. It bounced back and still looks good. Love the hat... just like my old hat of years ago and affordable. inside cords made fitting easy.

Many people would question the quality personally I like it. It's very thin so when I'm wearing it out, especially in the heat it won't make me sweat more where I feel like it's more breathable.
