I needed to replace the gate valve on my black tank so I looked around and found the Camco 3 inch gate valve. It was less expensive than the other name brands and it looks and works just as good. I would recommend this product.

The valve installed without issue. Time will tell if the quality is good. At $10, the price was good. Add free shipping to a Walmart store and the price was excellent. I just wish Walmart carried the 1 1/2" valve for the grey tank.

Good product

I have used many Camco products, as well as quite a few tank valves. They're easy to install %26 easy to use, but if you get the ones with plastic handles, they can break more easily than they should. I'm living in my RV, so every few days I empty the tank %26 I have found that the valves are not very durable for constant use. But bar any issues, they have generally worked well for probably at least a year to 18 months.
