This "side dish" is very good! I often add corn to it and shredded chicken, a little crushed red pepper, and it transforms from a side to a delicious meal. Can't finish the whole can, and it keeps well overnight in the refrigerator. The sauce is nicely seasoned - it's got a very mild ting to it, but not hot. It's tasty! Totally worth the cost. I buy this all the time.

I love these beans! They are such a great addition to taco night. Since ground beef is so expensive now, I mix a can of these beans with a pound of seasoned ground beef for our tacos. My kids weren't too happy when they saw what I was doing, but once they tasted it they said they were the best tacos ever. The beans are seasoned perfectly and are also great as a side dish. I love the texture and flavor. I'm just always looking for ways to stretch my dollar and give my family more fiber. These beans help me do just that.
