This 3000k lighting is exactly the look I was going for, I've bought the 5000K before and those were too blue, I like the warm and cozy feel of this shade. The bulbs are pretty standard and they fit my chandelier perfectly. They dim without flickering.

LED bulbs are so far superior to incandescent and finally at an affordable price. I truly hope these will last a long time as sometimes bulbs I use in fans expire sooner than I expect, but I am optimistic with these. They are Energy Star rated and are projected to cost only 48 cents a year to operate. According to the information printed on the box they are projected to last 13.7 years if used for three (3) hours a day. The box did not state whether they are recommended for ceiling fans. In addition to having to change my bulbs far less frequently, using LED lighting conserves energy and is a good environmental choice. Undimmed they provide a brightness of 350 lumens pre bulb. I have three 4W bulbs in the fixture. The lighting is warm and comfortable and gives very adequate light. Because they are fully dimmable they are great for the ceiling fan/light fixture over my dining room table. I can create a lovely, cozy atmosphere in the room when they are dimmed. The box says they have a five-year warranty from the date of purchase - so save your receipt. Although I use them every day I cannot yet report on their longevity. I hope I don't have to get on a ladder and change them any time soon.
