The straightening comb looks just like picture. It also came with instructions about the temperature of comb. the lowest setting was 160 degrees. i used 160 degrees setting and it was very hot for me. I hadn't pressed my 4c hair in 8yrs so i was like a newby. If i felt like that temp was too hot for my hair i would turn it off let it cool little then press my hair. The comb works very well. i like that it has a black cover that i could use to cover the straightening comb to press my edges and not burn myself. i really like this comb.
