Third machine
I run a small business from home, and I have been using Brother for years, this is my third machine. The reviews of them are mixed, but I have never had a real problem with them, and on buying a new machine, then better the devil you know. This machine is a little noisy during printing, but it does have a quiet feature, and it doesn't bother me. My only gripe is that every time I buy a new machine, I have to throw the cartridges for the old one away, as each new machine has different ones. Also I have found that Brother machines don't really like non-Brother cartridges. Otherwise all good.

Fantastic machine! All around great
Always available when I need it (my old wifi printer always gave an argument about being on-line) Plus the color touchscreen, plus the full duplex, plus the compact size (the old one was huge and heavy!) Love this machine, would definitely buy again!

Great inexpensive all-in-one unit
Arrived in perfect condition. Installed per instructions and started using immediately. Printed a report first, then copied some stuff, then scanned some paperwork into PDF files. All worked flawlessly. Have owned HP, Lexmark, Canon, Xerox and Brother units. But feel Brother units outperform and outlast all other units. This unit is a bit slow compared to my other Brother units, but I use this in my fifth wheel RV and it is very compact for me to travel with. Would definitely recommend this printer.
