The Breville Smart Scoop Ice Cream Maker is an easy to use ice cream making machine with automatic hardness. It can be controlled manually or automatically, but this is the first of its kind with an automatic hardness feature. It has 12 hardness settings, so you can make delicious ice cream and other frozen desserts using the Smart Scoop.
Automatic Hardness
The Breville Smart Scoop Ice Cream Maker is the first ice cream maker with automatic hardness, meaning that it automatically senses the mixture's hardness based on your selection and keeps the mixture ready until you're ready to serve your dessert. The Smart Scoop has 12 hardness settings and can make desserts ranging from sorbet and ice cream to frozen yogurt and gelato.
Temperature Control
The Smart Scoop pre-cools to the optimal operating temperature. It keeps cool for up to 3 hours, features temperature conversion and has a self refrigerating compressor.
Construction
This ice cream maker uses durable stainless steel housing and BPA free material to ensure the finest quality. It features a nonstick surface for ease of use and cleaning. Its user friendly transparent lid has an opening for large add-ins. The Smart Scoop has a child lock for safety.
Included Accessories

Great machine
Great ice cream so far . I have made 3 different types and flavours all easily done. I use my thermomix to prepare the ice cream then cool it in the fridge and then let the machine do its magic. Haven't tried any of the other iced confections but if they are as good as the ice cream as I'm sure they are , it's going to be a well used item

Smart Scoop, great investment.
Finally had a chance to try out our gift to ourselves. Had some Pauls Custard left over from Christmas, so modified recipe to use up that with extra cream, sugar,vanilla bean paste (the really good stuff) and a couple of egg yolks. Cooked in My-Cook and chilled down. Wow. Pre-chilled, loaded the churn bucket and pressed start. Smart Scoop completed the work as described, leaving us with a tub of beatifully smooth and delicious ice-cream that makes me want to fill the freezer with a variety as fast as I can. Now where's that recipe for pistachio I had years ago!
