I've use worm drives many times over the years. Just waiting for my older circular saws to die before I made the purchase. A few of my older models finally died (not worth fixing). So I upgraded. Worth every penny! Especially if you're making cuts all day long. She ease you get from the worm drive reduces fatigue. Big fan of worm drive.
