I needed a battery powered portable drill and was faced with replacing the power source for my old drill at 60% of the cost of newer, more powerful tool. So, I chose the path toward a 20 volt system, and never looked back. The pluses: light weight, quick charge lithium battery, soft side carrying/storing case, drill bit included, and it's VERY powerful. The negatives: a bit pricey, but it is worth the cost. I now reach for this drill for all of my projects, rather than hauling out the extension cord and my traditional plug in drill. My wife's small hand can operate this drill as well. With the correct variable setting, this machine will put 3 and 1/2 inch deck screws into wood in less than 5 seconds. Very nice.
