If you've ever flinched at the word “sardine,” this tin might change your mind. It's the diplomatic cousin of the fishy punch most sardines throw; mild, clean, and almost shy about its origins. The texture's firm without being rubbery, and the oil isn't overpowering. I'd call it a beginner's sardine. Sardine purists might scoff, but for the sardine-curious, this is a gentle handshake, not a slap. Quite mild but still flavorful.
