ADA compliant

I had a 25 year old washer (not Samsung) that finally broke. As I liked how that one worked, i wanted something similar. This washer has all the features I need: washes small loads, very dirty loads, towels and sheets, can wash a fast load, etc. It is bigger than my old washer and quieter. One very important feature this has is that it is ADA compliant and I can use an app on my Samsung phone to pair with my hearing aids. I can now 'hear' when the wash is done!! I have no problems with any features; no shaking, no loud noises. I am looking forward to another 25 years with this washer!

Not horrible, not great

this is my first front load washer due to energy and water efficiency over a top load. it has many i looked forward to - quick wash, spin only, etc. the washer struggles with small loads and balancing mixed loads, e.g., shirts with sheets. the main disappointment is the "spin only" feature which is clearly mislabeled or incorrectly engineered since water is added to the drum after several minutes have passed during that cycle. it appears to be a redundancy of the "rinse and spin" option and the customer support folks cannot tell me how to get the machine to spin only. i never expected i would have to reinterpret the meaning of "only" as in "spin only". i am looking at spin dryers now to use in addition to my washing machine when i need to spin without further rinsing.

Totaled after 13 months - replaced with LC

After barely a year, it sounded like it was going to explode every time we ran it. Could only use it on delicate cycle with lowest spin cycle and the whole house still shook. Repairman said Samsung started replacing the counterweight washers with crappy lightweight ones that break instantly. When he took our washer apart it looked like we ran cycles washing rocks. We were encouraged by the repairman to go with LG.
