Excellent speaker by Bose

I bought this after having the Bose speaker with battery. This new speaker is far superior in sound and reliability in holding wifi signal. It is in our kitchen which is approx 12'x14' and is more than capable of filling the room with great sound. So much so I listen to it in my study next door to kitchen.

Beefy Sound : )

I love how easy this is to set up .. great for my music library and when I want a mixed bag surprise, there's an excellent selection of genres and radio stations to choose from. This compact speaker gives quite a kick for sound and the bass & clarity is excellent too. Very convenient as it's portable and can pair up with others through your home. I haven't ever had any connectivity issues (note: I have reliable and fast internet speed so if you don't, it's not the fault of your speaker or devices) HAPPY HAPPY

Excellent sound quality and design

Really good speaker with lots of functionality that goes beyond just a bluetooth / wireless. Here are some of my key observations about SoundTouch 10... Sound quality: The high tones are clear, medium tones balanced and the bass is strong (but not overpowering). Songs I know well have a brand new depth to them, compared to other speaker & sound bar I own (that both miss some frequencies). Overall a very well balanced and crisp sound. Definitely the best feature of this speaker - it has got a real power to it. Wireless connectivity: Works well via Bluetooth (as you'd expect). The Bose's SoundTouch app however doesn't work with some of my favourite radios (e.g. di.fm). Apple Music also isn't supported either, but you can still listen to anything via Bluetooth. I like the concept of pre-configuring "channels" from 1-6 , which can either be one of the supported streams (like a Spotify playlist or a radio station). The "Like" and "Dislike" buttons on the remote are handy for things like Spotify radio, but I'm struggling to see why I would use those buttons vs the ones in a respective app. It may turn up to be useful though. Design: Really slick and smart. Looks very nice as a designer object and a feature item to be proud of on the shelf. Overall: Although I'm not a fan of Bose's SoundTouch app and the whole Wifi thing (takes some time to setup) - it does work very well over Bluetooth and AUX. Either way once set up it's really simple to use. Great value price for this sound quality.
