Good size; fits perfectly into an empty vienna sausage can, with a bit of clearance to catch drips if needed. Good size wick; good size flame. Good diameter; allows for a "well" to develop, to add left over cooking grease for disposal and xtend the life of the candle. Not hard to light. Easy to work with; doesn't crumble when cut, doesn't stick to the knife, and doesn't leave your fingers oily. Doesn't leave a lot of ash on the wick like some harder candles do; burns cleanly. It's the closest to perfect I've found so far. I think I can stop looking now.
