This is a blanket wrapped up and put inside a soft case to use as a pillow. So you can either use it as a pillow or a blanket. It is easy to fold up and put into the case. As a pillow, it is small and has a strap and clip for putting on your luggage for easy transport. As a blanket, it's the perfect size for in a car or plane. It is very soft and comfortable. Overall, I am very pleased with this and highly recommend.

Before I say anything else about this blanket, I have to say – be sure to WASH it before using, because it sheds a lot if you don't! This premium travel blanket is made of polyester and has a nice, soft feel to it, on both sides. Because it is polyester, it does tend to create some static during use. There are a number of colors available; mine is a beautiful, garnet-like red. The blanket is very light weight; it gives a little warmth, like a light sweater and will keep you free from drafts, whether at home, in the car, or on an airplane. It is bound on the edge with a ribbed polyester binding which is soft, well-stitched and appears sturdy. The blanket is 60 inches long by 43 inches wide. As an added benefit, this super soft blanket can be folded in fourths lengthwise, then folded width-wise to fit into the matching, zippered bag to function as a soft pillow. The pillow is approximately 10x11.5x3 inches when filled. Note that this product does not contain BOTH a blanket and a pillow. However, if you needed both, you could use the blanket while filling the zippered pillow case with a coat, clothing, or something soft to function as a pillow. For convenience, the back of the pillowcase has an attached carrying strap which fits easily over the handle of a rolling suitcase. It also has a short strap with a small carabiner, which could be attached to a purse or backpack strap. The entire pillow/blanket might be a bit large to store in a carry-on bag, but the strap and carabiner make it possible to bring it along externally. I would recommend it for both adults and children.
